“Real Recognise Real” – Kenny Omega and Giannis Antetokounmpo Chill Together Ahead of AEW Rampage

Greek professional basketball player Giannis Antetokounmpo made his surprise appearance alongside the AEW President Tony Khan at last week’s AEW Dynamite went off the air. However, Kenny Omega thinks he and Antetokounmpo are alike.

The MVP channeled his inner wrestler by stepping into the ring with a championship belt and climbing up on the ropes; Tony Khan also gifted him the replica of the AEW Championship.

Antetokounmpo went backstage and clicked photos with his favorite wrestlers. However, the AEW Champion Kenny Omega clicked a photo with the MVP where both the athletes are seen flaunting their belts.

‘The Belt Collector’ took shots on other wrestlers who clicked a photo with the NBA star and said called them “wannabes” and claimed that they’re all fake.

“A bunch of shmucks, wannabes, and clout chasers have been posting pics. w/ @Giannis_An34. None of them could ever cut it in a real sport. Luckily real recognize real, and smiles don’t have to be faked for this one. Catch these champs later on,” Omega wrote.

It is no secret that Giannis is a big professional wrestling fan. He confessed he followed the sport since his childhood. Last week, he walked out alongside Tony Khan along with the replica AEW Championship. Many fans also took to social media to claim Giannis is the first person to hold the WWE Universal and AEW Championship.

The Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo was sitting at ringside and was having a blast watching AEW Rampage event tonight.
