During the show, a ‘paid advertisement’ aired on Impact, featuring Tony Schiavone and none other than AEW’s President, Tony Khan. Khan and Schiavone hyped up the matches and segments for the upcoming episode of Dynamite. They even took some brave and funny shots at Don Callis’ company.
The most newsworthy moment of the advertisement was Khan mentioning that he might buy Impact Wrestling entirely. With a net worth of $7 billion, Tony Khan can more than afford Impact Wrestling. The head honcho of AEW even has his eyes set on some of Impact’s talent, especially the tag-team division.
