AEW Dynamite had some incredible moments, ranging from brutal beat downs to shock upsets. The AEW and IMPACT Tag Team Champions teamed up for the night’s main event, the brother of a WWE superstar debuted, and we might see Shaq wrestle Cody Rhodes in March. If you skipped Dynamite today, you missed a pretty eventful night for All Elite Wrestling.

Lance Archer and Eddie Kingston kick off AEW Dynamite

The Murderhawk Monster and the Mad King kicked off AEW Dynamite by beating the life out of each other. Archer was completely dominating Kingston, not allowing him to get out of the blocks at all.

Despite hitting him with two chokeslams, the new-age moonsault and a combination of big moves, Eddie Kingston put away Archer with a brass knucks unfused Spinning Backfist.

Jon Moxley cut a promo about how he formed a team with Fenix and Pac. Despite their differences in the past, they are united against a common enemy. He compared the Elite to the Young and the Restless, and saod he doesn’t know what’s going to happen, but it will be wild.

Sting and Darby Allin also cut a promo from a warehouse where they wreaked havoc. Sting said, “At Revolution in the Street Fight, it’s going to be showtime.”

The new primary team of the Inner Circle, Chris Jericho and MJF, picked up a big win against the Varsity Blondes. Their win in the Inner Circle three-way seems forgotten, as the Inner Circle prevented Griff Garrison from breaking up the winning pinfall. Sammy and MJF would have an argument after the match.

Shaquille O’Neal challenges Cody Rhodes; the American Nightmare responds

Shaq and Jade Cargill called out Cody and Brandi Rhodes at the AEW Awards. Cody walked to the ring to address Shaq and Jade’s challenge, which prompted Red Velvet to challenge Jade to a match, saying she would, “stir her b*tch a** up.”

Post that, Ryan Nemeth, the brother of Dolph Ziggler, made his AEW Dynamite debut in a losing effort against Hangman Page. After the win, Matt Hardy walked out and offered Page his support, especially since he was kicked out of the Elite. While one blonde lost, another won, as Jungle Boy picked up a huge submission victory against Dax Harwood.

The rivalry between Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa reached a new height, as Baker defeated Portugal’s Perfect Athlete, Shanna. After the match, Baker and Rebel tried to inflict more damage on Shanna but were run off by Rosa. Baker and Rosa finally face off at AEW Beach Break.

The Bullet Club wins in AEW Dynamite main event

Matt and Nick Jackson teamed up with the Good Brothers in the main event to take on the Dark Order. Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Alex Reynolds and John Silver fought valiantly against the dastardly duo of Anderson and Gallows. The IMPACT Tag Team Champions tested the Young Bucks’ patience, and their loyalty to the group.

After the Bucks picked up the win with the Magic Killer, they announced the rules of next week’s tag team battle royal. If the Bucks win, they will face an opponent of their choosing at Revolution. Chaos ensued after the announcement, as Rey Fenix and Jon Moxley took out the heels. The AEW World Champion ate a Paradigm Shift from Moxley to close out the show.
