The MVP of the ladder match was undoubtedly Cody Rhodes. The first TNT Champion took a ton of punishment at the hands of every wrestler in the ring. Rhodes had to head to the back to tend to his injuries, but he returned and almost won the match.

In a terrifying spot, Rhodes ate a Mexican Destroyer from Pentagon Jr on a ladder. He also took a massive superplex from Lance Archer from the top of a ladder, followed by an elbow drop by Max Caster from the top as well. His selling was on point throughout the match, and his performance warranted a big win tonight.

SCU member Scorpio Sky won the biggest match of his life, ripping Cody off the ladder to win the title. Rhodes and Sky faced each other before with the TNT Title on the line, and it made perfect sense for them to be the last men fighting.

Sky bounced back after taking a big bump. Archer delivered a running high knee to Sky, who fell off the top rope through a ladder below. Sky’s landing snapped the ladder in half.
