After his fiery return to AEW’s first-ever episode of Collision, fans were impatiently waiting to see CM Punk on Wednesday. And they couldn’t sit still in excitement as CM Punk made an explosive return to AEW’s Dynamite.

But as all this action unraveled in the ring, his better half AJ Lee took to Instagram to explain how and why she got all ripped, a day after posting her jacked-up picture.

AJ Lee details her physical transformation for her fans

She recently posted a shredded picture which got her fans guessing if she will make her wrestling return soon. But in her latest Instagram post, she detailed her entire year-long transformative journey so her fans could benefit from the same.

Lee explained that having a fitness certification, she built her own workout program and upped her protein intake. She also advised fans not to overdo their exercise routine while trying to achieve the perfect frame. Lee wrote, “But i believe crash diets, zero carb diets, and pushing through pain are bullshit. Be nice to yourself, be patient, and you’ll stick with it longer. I gave myself a whole year to reach my goal. We should never work out to earn food or punish ourselves, only to improve our physical and mental health, feel stronger, and to scare strangers on the street.”

CM Punk and AJ Lee in future tag team action

In a recent interview, Punk was told that AEW stars Adam Cole and Britt Baker chose him and his wife AJ Lee as the dream opponents they would like to face in the ring.

To which Punk replied jokingly, “That one i can’t promise you. She’s doing her own thing, and to be completely honest. I know her and if i said ‘hey you wanna do this wrestling match’ and if she was all gung-ho to do it, i know she would want to get into stupid shape due to it and i like her thick, so i don’t want to take that away from myself.”
