Fuego Del Sol took on the TNT Champion Miro at the debut episode of AEW Rampage. The idea was that if he wins; he gets the AEW contract.

Unfortunately, Miro absolutely destroyed Del Sol in the match. It was a short match, and once Miro established his dominance, there wasn’t much Fuego Del Sol could do.

Therefore, when he lost the match, everyone assumed this was the end for Fuego Del Sol at AEW. However, Tony Khan decided otherwise!

Khan himself came out to the ring and handed a contract to Sammy Guevara. Guevara addressed Del Sol and told him that sometimes there’s victory in defeat. Following this, he informed Fuego Del Sol that even though he lost to Miro; he is now All Elite!

Del Sol is a Mexican wrestler born in 1995.

The newest member of AEW started working in the independent scene where he worked under the name Kage. This is where he earned his initial fame.

Furthermore, he had his own YouTube channel, Kids Backyard Wrestling (KBW). He would upload videos of himself and his friends participating in various wrestling matches. He uploaded the first video in 2010 when he was fourteen years old. But, when he turned twenty in 2016, he quit KBW, but kept the channel open.

The young wrestler did not think he would get AEW contract

Prior to AEW Rampage, Del Sol suffered thirty straight defeats before he secured a win.

The victory came against Baron Black and Ryzin alongside Marko Stunt.

However, at this point, he didn’t have the contract from AEW. Therefore, he took to social media to express what an incredible time he had at the company and what the victory meant to him.
