Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega Fails to Produce a Winner at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam

Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson took on one another for the ring at AEW Grand Slam: September 22nd 2021. This was one of the most awaited matches on the AEW Grand Slam card.

The AEW World Champion and Danielson made an enormous impact during the show. The second the two pro-wrestlers locked for the first time, the crowd ERUPTED!

Omega and Danielson took numerous shots at one another. Both of them showed why they’re two of the best pro-wrestlers in the business, and why the AEW World Championship should belong with them. However, there could only be one winner, or in this case, no winner.

At the end of the match, Omega climbed the top rope and tried to execute a Phoenix Splash. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out as Omega expected, as Bryan Danielson rolled away. This led to Omega crash landing on the ring floor. Bryan took the opportunity and showered Omega with several boot stomps before trying to lock him in!

The ‘American Dragon‘ almost had it. But, the bell rang and time was up! The decision was made – the match concluded with a time limit draw, there were no winners.

Even after that, Danielson kept trying to take down Omega. He put the AEW World Champion in the Lock but The Elite arrived in the ring and broke the lock.

The Elite took their shot at Bryan Danielson

Danielson crawled to a corner, but it wasn’t long when Adam Cole and the others from The Elite kicked Danielson on the face. They kept attacking until others arrived to help Bryan Danielson.

Christian Cage, Jungle Boy, and Luchasaurus came to the ring and ensured The Elite left Daniel Bryan alone. Nevertheless, this will not be the end of Kenny Omega vs Bryan Danielson.

This was one of the biggest matches of Danielson’s career. Even though this resulted in a draw, he established himself on the AEW roster with his performance. Undoubtedly, he will want to take on Omega again and try his luck for the AEW World Championship again.
