Shawn Spears controlled the match throughout the mid-moments. He worked on Jericho’s injured arm and even hit a chair shot with his arm against the ring post. Despite the adversity, the former AEW World Champion had some gas left in the tank and he used that to make a strong comeback.

Chris Jericho took Spears on the top rope and then hit an Avalanche Frankensteiner on Spears! In the ultimate moments of the match, Jericho made Spears submit to the Walls of Jericho. But the referee didn’t see it as Tully Blanchard distracted her.
