CM Punk Dons Commentary Hat on AEW Rampage for a Closer Look at Darby Allin Ahead of All Out 2021

CM Punk will make his in-ring return after seven long years against former AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin at AEW All Out pay-per-view on September 5th.

Punk made his much-awaited debut at the second episode of AEW Rampage where he immediately challenged the young Allin for a match. However, he will get a closer look at Darby Allin on Friday night as he will join the commentary for Darby Allin vs Daniel Garcia.

AEW announced that CM Punk will be part of the commentary team during the match.

Darby Allin and Sting saved CM Punk on AEW Dynamite

This Wednesday on an episode of AEW Dynamite, Punk made his way out to the ring to address the crowd. During the segment, Punk admitted that he might bore a few fans by coming out and speaking each week.

However, Punk noted that he will not stop doing it because he wants to feel ‘The Cult of Personality’ (his theme song) and the roar of the fans.

As he was cutting the promo, suddenly 2.0 made their way out and ambushed Punk. ‘The Best in the World’ was quickly outnumbered by the 3 on 1 attack.

However, Sting and Darby Allin made their way out and helped Punk by attacking 2.0. Eventually, Punk, Sting, and Allin delivered their finishers to lay waste on the attackers.

Punk and Allin then confronted each other and the capacity crowd went crazy. Undoubtedly, the fans are eagerly waiting to see the two wrestlers collide at AEW All Out.
