Punk makes his first appearance on AEW Dynamite on this week’s Wednesday which drew reportedly drew 1.172 million viewers on TNT viewers yet again. So what is different this time? According to Showbuzz Daily, AEW Dynamite drew the third-best audience in history for CM Punk’s debut.

CM Punk is still blowing the roof off arenas

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Dynamite drew a 0.48 rating in the key 18-49 demographic this week which is up by 37.14% from last week’s 0.35 rating.

This week’s Dynamite had better segments where we witnessed ‘Le Champion’ putting his career on the line against MJF at AEW All Out next month.

AEW broadcaster Tony welcomed CM Punk to the ring where Punk cut a promo about Darby Allin whom he’ll face at AEW All Out; however, one interesting thing that happened in that promo was when Punk gave a subtle hint of Daniel Bryan joining AEW.

Plus, we saw Malakai Black facing Arn Anderson’s son, Brock Anderson; however, the match did not end well for the Anderson family when both father-son received the ‘Black Mass’ on the face.
