This was an exceptionally kind gesture by a man whose nickname has the word ‘nightmare’ in it. Rhodes wasn’t in action on tonight’s episode of Dynamite, but we saw the storyline with QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes progress significantly.

On Dynamite, QT Marshall picked up a cheap win against WWE legend Billy Gunn after Anthony Ogogo attacked Gunn with a devastating gut punch. After the match, Nick Comoroto hands QT a chair to end Gunn’s career, only for Dustin Rhodes to save him. Rhodes attacked Comoroto with the chair, but it didn’t affect the former WWE superstar at all.

This episode of Dynamite was a special one with two huge title matches. Darby Allin defended his TNT Championship against Jungle Boy, and Hikaru Shida defended the AEW Women’s Title against Tay Conti.

The card kicked off with Hangman Page picking up a big win against Ricky Starks. In the next match, Penta defeated Trent in his first singles match after his huge return two weeks ago. After Penta’s big win came the first title match of the night, as Hikaru Shida outlasted a very game Tay Conti to retain the AEW Women’s Title.

The aforementioned match between QT Marshall and Billy Gunn preceded Christian Cage’s second match in AEW. Cage knocked off Powerhouse Hobbs by using his experience against Hobbs’ power. In the main event, Darby Allin successfully defended the TNT Title against Jungle Boy in an excellent match.
