As per reports, Cody Rhodes will begin his recovery immediately, considering he has a tag team match against Shaquille O’Neal and Jade Cargill.

For the uninitiated, Rhodes was initially supposed to pair up with his wife, Brandi. Unfortunately, she couldn’t be a part of this match because of her pregnancy.

However, the NBA star accepted Cody Rhodes’ challenge after the latter called him out on AEW Dynamite.

“Cody Rhodes, you little punk. You want to battle, you just name the time and the day. You little punk, with your blonde hair, you look like a little girl, You want some of the Shaq Attack? Name the place. Matter of fact, let’s do it in March. How about that?” h/t Comicbook

If not for anything else, just the presence of the NBA Legend inside the squared circle will reel in a significant audience. In addition to wrestling fans, admirers of the Lakers legend’s basketball exploits will also tune in to watch him dunk it out in the ring.
