AEW has been teasing Daniel Bryan coming onboard for a while now. However, up until this moment the AEW Universe knew it was happening but did not know when it was happening.
Now, it’s been reportedly confirmed that AEW is planning to bring former WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan in front of the audience at AEW All Out September 5th, 2021.
Previously, the company planned to bring him onboard a week or two after AEW All Out. However, now it wants to capitalize on the buzz following Punk’s debut and is bringing Daniel Bryan in front of the audience at All Out.

Another reason AEW took this decision was to avoid the tight COVID-19 protocols at New York, where he was supposed to debut. Therefore, instead of pushing it further back, Bryan is reportedly making his debut at Chicago at AEW All Out.
CM Punk teased Daniel Bryan debuting soon
When Punk made his AEW Dynamite debut, he was looking at a crowd that could not stop chanting Bryan’s signature “yes”. Well, why wouldn’t they? The last time they cheered for Punk, out came Punk. They might as well do it again for Bryan. However, Punk informed them they’ll need to wait awhile more to see the man for whom they were chanting.
However, his teasing didn’t end there. Following Dynamite, he posted a photograph of himself and Bryan on his social media. This pretty much confirmed the news, and the fans knew Daniel Bryan is definitely coming to AEW!
