According to recent reports from F4Wonline.com, the breakout AEW Superstar suffered a major injury during match tapings. Abadon may be out for a couple of weeks or more due to this.

Although details of her injury have not been revealed yet, she sustained it during the match against Tay Conti. The two were in the middle of the fight when Abadon had to pull out.

AEW’s direct rival NXT has not had the same luck. WWE’s developmental brand has seen its key Superstars like Finn Bálor and Kyle O’Reilly among others step out of action due to their injuries.

The loss in big names has really brought NXT scraping the barrel to beat AEW. However, it still manages to use its talents to deliver exciting matches.

AEW is far ahead of its competition on Wednesday nights now. The company now focuses on its other brand. Dark has had a lot of pushes over the past couple of weeks and Abadon could be the real wild card for AEW.

A lot of fans expect her unique gimmick to make it to the top. In fact, she may be the one who finally snatches the title away from Hikaru Shida. We hope Abadon recovers so we can get back to seeing her creepy antics in the ring.
