MJF is always a solid entertainer when it comes to promos, and his brilliance routinely presents itself on AEW Dynamite. However, on Twitter, the Superstar isn’t quite always spot on and has been caught in yet another infamous botch.

In a segment on AEW Dynamite, MJF got rival Sammy Guevara to ‘confess’ his intentions of backstabbing Chris Jericho and taking over the Inner Circle faction.

Convinced he was recording the entire thing, Guevara smashed MJF’s phone against the wall, instantly damaging it beyond repair. He then proceeded to hit his rival with a low blow, leaving MJF on the floor.

Moments later, MJF typically updated fans on Twitter that he wasn’t really trying to record Guevara, as you can see below. The reason the tweet isn’t embedded is that he had to delete it immediately!

The Superstar forgot that his phone had been ‘destroyed’ as per the storyline. Fans quickly called him out on the mistake, to which MJF’s reply got him stuck further down the ditch.

He replied that he had tweeted on a computer, calling the fan a ‘Dumb**s’! However, he was embarrassingly caught here as well because his original tweet clearly mentioned the device it was tweeted from, which was an iPhone!

Twitter tells its users the device one has tweeted from, and MJF probably should have noticed the bold lettering before taking on a fan.

However, the end justifies the means, and the heel managed to get what he set out for. Later on the Dynamite Episode, a fuming Sammy Guevara came out to the ring and shocked the world by announcing his departure from the Inner Circle.

Chris Jericho was gutted, given his long history with Guevara, a man who is very close to him. This was the final product of weeks of friction inside the Inner Circle, which may soon implode even further.

As for MJF himself, things have never looked better. With Sammy out of the way, he can focus on his ‘true’ intentions if there are any. But first, he has to sort things out with Twitter.
