TNT Champion Cody Rhodes sent a stern warning to his challenger, Darby Allin, ahead of their match at Full Gear. Earlier, Rhodes teamed up with Billy Gunn and Austin Gunn with Arn Anderson in their corner against John Silver, Ten, and Colt Cabana with Dark Order.

Rhodes, Gunn, and Austin Gunn defeated the latter in an entertaining main event. Post the match, Rhodes cut a top-class promo on his opponent Darby Allin who was seated high up in the stands.

Cody called Allin’s statement of TNT, not wanting him to be the face of the network a fiction. Rhodes revealed if circumstances were different, TNT and he would love to have Allin as the face.

Rhodes then claimed he was the one who brought Allin in when all EVP’s were against it. The champ had to himself get into the ring to show Allin’s talent to the world.

The American nightmare then said Allin may want to be the champ, He may want to be the face of AEW. However, Cody in his words told Allin “You’re not the ace”.

Week after week Rhodes proves the high regard he has for the TNT championship. He has also called it the most important belt in wrestling. However, AEW World Champion has different thoughts.

Jon Moxley reacts to Cody Rhodes calling the TNT Championship the most important title

A week or two back Cody Rhodes took to Twitter claiming the TNT championship to be the most important in wrestling. Rhodes called ‘The’ belt in wrestling.

However, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley found this statement very inaccurate. Here is what Moxley said about Rhodes’ statement in an interview with TV Insider.

If seen from the perspective of Cody Rhodes, it is possible as he is not allowed to challenge for the AEW World Championship after his loss to Chris Jericho.
