CM Punk has been on the forefront of everyone’s fight list ever since he stepped foot in All Elite Wrestling. After Darby Allin, it looks like Powerhouse Hobbs is next in line for some beating.

We say this because Hobbs just put Punk through the announcers’ table at AEW Dynamite. It all started with Taz coming out of nowhere and accusing CM Punk of trying to take his job. But Punk had no such intention when he took up the comms.
Punk even tried to diffuse the situation by calmly talking to Taz, but the latter had other devious intentions. He lured Punk into getting up and lowering his guard as he squared up to Hook. But it was all a ruse for Powerhouse Hobbs to maul the ‘Best in the World‘ from behind.

As if it wasn’t enough, Hobbs added insult to injury by choke slamming the seven-time World Champion through the announcers’ table. The worse part was that the table did not even break, leading to Punk sustaining more injury.

CM Punk vs Powerhouse Hobbs at AEW Rampage Grand Slam!
The feud between Team Taz and CM Punk has reached its boiling point as AEW confirms Punk vs Hobbs at Rampage Grand Slam on Friday, September 24. This was expected, as Punk would definitely want to exact revenge on Hobbs for the uncalled assault on him.
When Punk first came to AEW, he chose Darby Allin as his first opponent. After their feud ended with Punk’s victory at ALL OUT, the fans were wondering what next?

The answer practically presented itself in the form of a muscular Powerhouse Hobbs. Punk will face an entirely different type of wrestler from Allin. Hobbs is bigger, stronger, and more physical than Punk’s former opponent in AEW. We cannot wait for the match to go down.
