On last night’s AEW Dynamite (05/19/21), Miro addressed the crowd for the first time after winning the TNT title. The promo, which also featured Lance Archer, has the fans buzzing on social media.

Before that, let’s recall his actions from. This week. Miro came out to the ring and thanked Jesus Christ for protecting him and giving him the strength to defeat others.

With the help of Christ, Miro took from Darby what the latter said could not be taken. However, ‘The Bulgarian‘ forgave Allin despite him talking trash about ‘the Best Man’ and advised him to go home and make “more of his college student videos.”

As a “we want Darby” chant broke out, Miro unclasped the title belt, put it up in the air, and said, “There’s your Darby.” He also announced he would be defending his title on next week’s special Friday Night Live Dynamite. Post that, Miro’s opponent for Double or Nothing, Lance Archer, came out with Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts.

Archer claimed that Miro did not know what it was to be “a beast” or the history of the TNT title. Although Archer did not win the title at last year’s Double or Nothing PPV, he would be walking off with the title.

Archer was glad he was going to fight the TNT Champion as it would be a fight similar to that of ‘King Kong vs Godzilla.’ At the end of the match, Archer would make the latter his “Bulgarian Bi***.”

Miro heard it all and ridiculed Archer for bringing “his old man to hold him back.” However, on Double or Nothing, even Jake Roberts would not save him. He knew everybody dies but insisted Archer died first and ended the segment.

Ahead of their bout on the PPV, the promo definitely added some dimension to the ‘Archer vs Miro’ rivalry. The announcement of Dante Martin ( one-half of Top Flight) facing Miro for the title next week also made buzz among the fans.
