Former WWE Tag Team Set to Make AEW Dynamite Debut Against Jon Moxley, Darby Allin and Eddie Kingston

Former WWE Tag team Ever-Rise recently signed a contract with AEW. The tag team, now known as 2.0 is set to debut on this week’s episode, AEW Dynamite. Matt Lee and Jeff Parker were formerly known as 3.0 before joining WWE NXT. The duo made some appearances on NXT and also on WWE’s 205 live.

After arriving at Tony Khan’s brand, the duo has wasted no time as they have already aligned with AEW Superstar Daniel Garcia. The trio has challenged three interesting AEW Superstars which has surprised the fans.

2.0 and Daniel Garcia Challenge 3 of the top names at AEW

The 2.0 and Daniel Garcia were caught backstage, and the three superstars cut a promo for the fans. First, 2.0 introduces Daniel Garcia as someone who will always have 2.0’s back.

Daniel Garcia then asked the 2.0 team to call out 3 of the top and baddest dudes on the roster. Matt Lee was the first one to respond as he called out Eddie Kingston. Jeff Parker then called out Jon Moxley. Garcia then came to the front to call out Darby Allin.

The trio caught the attention of Tony Khan as the Boss sanctioned a match featuring 2.0 and Daniel Garcia facing Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, and Darby Allin. The six-man tag team match will feature on Tomorrow night’s AEW Dynamite. AEW posted this video on their official Twitter handle. The 2.0 was released by WWE back in June, and the duo has completed their 30-day non-compete clause.

Tony Khan continues the trend of signing former WWE talents

The 2.0, formerly known as Ever Rise in WWE as part of the company from 2016. Now that they have signed for AEW, the fans are puzzled to see Tony Khan signing more former WWE Talents. Wrestling fans heavily criticized AEW for constantly signing former WWE talents and legends.

This move has worried the fans as they feel like the brand could completely avoid the TV time for their home-grown talents, which was once the show’s core ideology.

With huge names such as Big Show, Mark Henry, Christian Cage, Miro aka Rusev, Andrade, Malakai Black aka Aleister Black who have already signed for AEW, it looks like Tony is not stopping soon. Multiple reports have emerged stating that Tony Khan’s brand is ready to break the bank to gain CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, former WWE Superstars.

The signing of these two colossal superstars will certainly increase the value of AEW. But the enormous concern for the AEW fans is that the brand is neglecting their core Superstars?
