At AEW Revolution, Cody Rhodes and Penta El Zero Miedo registered excellent performances. Penta even hit a terrifying Mexican Destroyer on Cody from the top of a ladder.

This was the move that rendered Cody unable to compete for a while, even though he returned soon. On Dynamite, the tensions between the two stars led to a daring challenge.

Cody Rhodes faced Seth Gargis, a wrestler trained by WWE legend Gangrel from Huntsville, Alabama. The American Nightmare made quick work of the youngster, making him submit to the Figure Four within a minute. However, Cody’s night didn’t end there, as someone had something to say to him.

Penta El Zero Miedo grabbed Alex Abrahantes from the Spanish announcer’s team and had him translate his promo for Cody to understand. He stated that he’s a thousand times better than Cody. Penta also claimed that if Cody is the ‘Prince of Wrestling’, that makes him the ‘Lord of Lucha Libre’.

Penta then reverted to English and continued spitting fire at Cody. “You serious? At Revolution, you lost! Yeah, you lost. Had it just been you and me in that ring, you would’ve lost more in that match. You know why?”

He handed translating duties back to Alex, who said he should be glad Penta didn’t focus on his arm, as it would’ve rendered him incapable of holding his newborn baby girl.

This triggered Cody, who ran into the stands and brawled with Penta. A bunch of wrestlers from the stands separated them, but they won’t have to do that next week. At St Patrick’s Day Slam, Cody Rhodes will take on Penta El Zero Miedo, in what will be the Prince of Wrestling vs the Lord of Lucha Libre.

Along with the dream match between Cody and Penta, St. Patrick’s Day Slam will feature some huge clashes.

In the main event of the show, Dr. Britt Baker will face Thunder Rosa in a Lights Out match. The last Lights Out match was the infamous Kenny Omega vs Jon Moxley match at Full Gear.

Baker and Rosa are the Omega and Moxley of the women’s division, meaning that it will be a hell of a match.
