Callis joined the company as Co-Executive Vice President along with Scott D’Amore in 2017 before he joined the commentary team. Now, Fightful Select has reported that Don Callis is no longer working with IMPACT Wrestling in any capacity.

Coming to Omega holding both IMPACT Wrestling title and AEW title, Booker T had something interesting to say about this situation.

He believes that no company can benefit from having their primary title in the hands of a pro-wrestler who is signed with another company. Therefore, when Omega won the IMPACT Wrestling title, it was quite shocking to know that the company signed off on it.

The WWE Hall of Famer explained that it would hurt IMPACT Wrestling’s credibility in the long run because they allowed this to happen. Otherwise, they will need to set up a rematch as soon as possible and bring the title back to the company and put it in the hands of someone who is signed with IMPACT Wrestling.
