Snoop accompanied Rhodes into the ring who now had a remixed version of his theme, thanks to his rapper friend. For the first time, Rhodes faced Matt Sydal. While Rhodes easily picked up the victory with two Cross Rhodes, the match was not over yet.

During the match, Rhodes accidentally hit Serpentico while brawling with Sydal at the ringside. After the match, Serpentico and Luther attacked Cody.

While Cody and Sydal fought the heels off in tandem, Snoop Dogg decided to join in. As Cody and Sydal held Serpentico down, Snoop climbed on the top rope and hit a Frog Splash (dubbed as Snoop Splash).

Snoop covered Serpentico, and Cody counted the pinfall. Watch the video below –

Snoop’s appearance on AEW was to help promote the upcoming competition series, The Go-Big Show. The series premieres on January 7 on TBS at 9 pm ET.

Snoop Dogg has previously appeared in WWE

The famous rapper served as the Master of Ceremonies for a Lumber Jill match at WrestleMania 24 and guest-hosted Raw in 2009. He became the first musician to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at WrestleMania 32.

During the WrestleMania triple threat match, Snoop accompanied his cousin Sasha Banks to the ring. Before Cody, Snoop remixed Sasha’s current WWE theme.

Despite WWE and Snoop’s relation, he did not back away from criticizing the company. In a backstage segment, Snoop made sure the Private Party read their contracts with Matt Hardy.

As Hardy said, “All those third-party platform things, Cameo, Twitch; I’m not a monster, you still got all of that,” Dogg nodded in approval. WWE got some massive backlash last year due to their controversial third party policies.
