The latest episode of AEW Dynamite featured the 5th and final labor of Jericho. AEW Superstar MJF faced former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho at Houston, Texas, to end their saga. Well, the outcome of the match favored MJF as he made Jericho tap to his submission hold. 

 

After the match, Jericho took to Twitter to send a cryptic message to the fans, which has turned out to be the talking point in the wrestling world.

Chris Jericho states he needs some time for soul searching

The bout between MJF and Jericho turned out to be an iconic match because of many factors. One such outstanding moment from the match occurred when the crowd in the arena sang the acappella of the Judas. This response from fans surprised the wrestling veteran, as he couldn’t hold his smile for 2 minutes.

The only one who was fuming with the extraordinary scenes was MJF. But even the fans couldn’t save Jericho from the beating of MJF as ‘The Salt of The Earth’ comfortably won the match.

 

Following the match, Jericho wrote- “While the outcome wasn’t what I wanted, last night. It was one of the best moments of my career… THANK YOU, HOUSTON! The acapella version of Judas was insane! Great story about this to tell someday. As for today, I have some serious soul searching to do.” From these quotes, it is evident that Jericho is trying to figure out what is best for him.

What will be the plans for Jericho?

With AEW All Out around the corner, AEW fans are waiting to see who Jericho will face in the upcoming PPV. The same goes for MJF, as the duo’s iconic clash has come to an end. However, Jericho, who has some soul-searching to do, may not even be part of the PPV.

There are rumors that WWE Superstars Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, CM Punk, and more may join AEW. As a result, it is almost certain that Jericho will still have a match with a top superstar soon.
