The Young Bucks confess to not watching NXT
The Wednesday Night Wars have made the wrestling industry so much more exciting than it already was. It began in 2019 with the launch of Dynamite, and Tony Khan’s company has been dominating Triple H’s pet project as far as ratings are concerned.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, in an interview with Nick Hausman of The Wrestling Inc. Daily The Bucks opened up about their new book, and whether they watch NXT or not. The Bucks admitted that they do not watch NXT, since they are mostly committed to putting on a good show in Jacksonville.

“It’s weird when you’re in the thick of things and you’re in the middle of it all, you don’t even think about it,” said one half of the AEW Tag Champions Nick Jackson. He also added that it was difficult to pay attention to the ‘other show’, given their involvement in AEW’s weekly show.

The Bucks fear that watching NXT would affect their judgment
“So it’s probably something we’ll think about later on in life, but as of now, I didn’t even think of that question because we’re so involved with every detail, every little thing that’s going on on Dynamite that it’s hard to even think about the other show at all,” added Nick.
“I forget that they have shows,” joked Matt Jackson. The older Jackson went on to say, “It’s tunnel vision to our own product. It’s like, ‘Oh yeah, that’s right. There’s another show tonight. That’s right’.”

Nick further went on to reveal how watching NXT would be counterproductive for the Bucks. “That’s the mentality of Dynamite and AEW is [that] we’d never wanted to know what that show is doing because we feel like if we do know, then it might screw up our brains and our minds on how we book things as well.”

Nick and Matt Jackson are the current AEW Tag Champions. They recently defended the titles against AEW’s newest team, Top Flight. The match was superb and well-paced. It was a little taste of what the Young Bucks could bring to the table every Wednesday on Dynamite.
