All Elite Wrestling is not short on commentators. In fact, they have a very impressive commentary team. Let’s check it out!

AEW Dynamite made its debut on TNT on October 2nd, 2019. The AEW Dynamite commentary is unchanged since its debut, except for a few additions for specific episodes.

Wrestlers and managers such as Taz and Chris Jericho join the commentary desk quite often. Speaking of Taz, the ‘Suplex Machine’ is the official voice of AEW Dark streamed on YouTube alongside Excalibur. Jim Ross and Excalibur started off before Taz replaced Good Ol’ Jr.

Apart from AEW Dynamite on TNT and AEW Dark on YouTube, Tony Khan’s promotion also runs a 3rd show on YouTube- AEW Dark: Elevation.

The commentary team on AEW Dark: Elevation is lead by Tony Schiavone alongside former WWE Superstar and pro wrestling legend, Paul Wight aka The Big Show.

Various wrestlers such as Ricky Starks, Dustin Rhodes, Chuck Taylor, Shawn Spears, and a lot more, have joined the commentary table for AEW Dark in the past.

So talent appearing as guest commentators is quite a frequent activity in the company. However, the commentary team isn’t the only team that gives the show its voice.

Backstage interviewers and ring announcers are also crucial to a pro wrestling show. When it comes to ring announcers, former WWE Ring Announcer Justin Roberts is the staple across all three shows. Dasha Gonzalez serves as a backup announcer and has stepped in every time in his absence.

Just like Justin Roberts, the Backstage Interviewers are also the same across all shows, except that there are multiple interviewers. Alex Marvez, Dasha Gonzalez, and Lexy Nair are the three reporters covering the action. Tony Schiavone joins in for interviews certain times.
