Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega are two of AEW’s biggest superstars. However, their rise to superstar status began long before arriving in AEW. Both men have won titles in NJPW and are the former and current AEW Champions, respectively.

To call Moxley and Omega the best wrestlers in the world wouldn’t be a far-fetched opinion. Omega is the Best Bout Machine, registering an astounding seventeen five-star rated matches. In fact, only Kazuchika Okada, Toshiaki Kawada, Kenta Kobashi and Mitsuharu Misawa have more five-star matches than Omega.

Moxley had a phenomenal 2020. He won the title against Chris Jericho at Revolution 2020 and defended it against the best AEW offered. His matches against Brodie Lee, Jake Hager, MJF, Brian Cage, Darby Allin, Lance Archer, Eddie Kingston and Kenny Omega were spectacular.

We know Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega like to push the boundaries of wrestling with their matches. Moxley‘s violent, weapon-filled brawls harken back to the days of Terry Funk and Mick Foley. It is brutal, bloody, gory, and has its fans and haters as well.
Omega‘s style of wrestling has been perfected by absolutely no one. The current AEW Champion has the perfect poise and his ridiculous levels of athleticism take him to a higher tier of performer. Critics rip him apart for his over-the-top antics and his concussive offence, but Kenny Omega is genuinely a class apart.
