In 2006, former WWE Champion Triple H paid tribute to both Harley Race and Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister by fashioning his beard to look like theirs. Unfortunately, the Game looked nothing short of bizarre, and the look only lasted for a couple of months. But on AEW Dynamite, it looked the look might’ve inspired a few more people.

Ahead of their tag team match, the Young Bucks walked out to a negative reception, but people laughed their backsides off after noticing their facial hair. For fans who have witnessed the Bucks with a clean face, this was a very bizarre sight. However, this perfectly suits their heel run, as they’ve begun to care lesser and lesser about what their fans want.

As for Omega, he’s leaps and bounds ahead of any wrestler in 2021, but he’s also doing a great job as a d*ckhead champion. The AEW World Champion retained his title in a fizzer of a match against Jungle Boy last week. In less than two weeks, he defends his IMPACT World Championship against Sami Callihan at Slammiversary.

How long will this weird facial hair phase go on for? Will the fans accept this look for good, or will they continue voicing how terrible it looks? As for the AEW Champion and Tag Team Champions, they continue killing it AEW’s top heels.

Moving on from Omega‘s wild hair, we focus on the reason he showed up on Dynamite. Tony Schiavone invited the champion to the ring, which led to Omega claiming he had a conversation with Tony about how he stays motivated. When Tony responded by saying they never had such a conversation, Omega went on a rant of his own.

He claimed he’s beaten the toughest guy in AEW [Jon Moxley], the best high-flyer [Rey Fenix], the leading merchandise seller [Orange Cassidy], the ‘greatest athlete aside from him [Pac] and the best up-and-coming star on the roster [Jungle Boy]. With everyone beaten, he wants to take some time off and relax, but the Dark Order spoiled his plans.

Evil Uno reminds him that there’s a new #1 contender according to the rankings, and Omega knows that man very well. In retaliation, Omega claimed the man Uno is referring too doesn’t have the guts to face him and isn’t worthy of challenging for his title. Clearly shaken up at this reminder from Uno, the question begs to be asked- is Hangman Page the man who will take the AEW Title from Omega?
