Kenny Omega Will Not Fight Bryan Danielson in AEW Again

Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson failed to come up with a winner in their dream AEW bout. The match ended with a time limit draw, and there was no official winner. Essentially, this means there will be a rematch. However, the current champion has no intention of accepting a rematch or even being a part of one.

He took to social media to reveal that it doesn’t matter whether it’s Dynamite or Rampage, Bryan Danielson does not get a rematch. However, he won’t be able to avoid a rematch for as long as he’s champion.

The American Dragon almost defeated the AEW World Champion. In fact, a minute more, and Danielson would probably have beaten Kenny Omega. Keeping this in mind, it’s a given that if Danielson gets another chance to take on Omega, he’ll give it his best shot. Only time will tell if Omega and Danielson return to the ring to finish off what they started.

When AEW announced the match for Grand Slam, it automatically attracted much of the crowd. Everyone was eager to watch Danielson in action, especially against the pro-wrestler who was sitting at the top of the AEW roster.

From the beginning to the very end of the thirty minute classic match, Omega and Danielson kept the audience engaged and entertained with their performance. Whether it was the chops in the corner, or Omega’s Phoenix Splash, or Danielson’s Lock, all of it worked out.

The fans were more intrigued when the ending was left on a cliffhanger where The Elite attacked Danielson, but The Jurassic Squad came to Danielson’s aid. Was this the beginning of another AEW Special Faction Feud? Only time will tell!

Moreover, even CM Punk was impressed with the performance they put up. He came out to the arena to address the audience following the match. Punk revealed that he was glad he’s not working a match. He believed nobody could follow the match Danielson and Omega just put up for the AEW Universe.
