Mark Henry finally appeared after a long time since he debuted for Tony Khan’s company back in May. When Henry debuted, the backstage team clarified AEW would involve him as a color commentator for the company. At the very first episode of AEW Rampage, we witnessed just that.

The commentary team for Friday’s AEW Rampage had Excalibur, Chris Jericho, Taz, and Mark Henry himself; however, Tony Khan recently added that Ramage would not always have four commentators to call matches.

Henry was in the commentary booth with the other commentators and called the match for the Impact World Championship match between Kenny Omega and Christian Cage.

However, Henry did more than just call match-ups for the night; he played the role of the backstage interviewer as well.

Following that match, Henry went backstage and worked as an interviewer for the rest of the show, starting with Christian after he defeated Omega.

The moment felt wholesome because as the interview began Christian took the time out and said that he’s happy to see Henry at this moment, to which Henry smiled warmly.
