AEW welcomed live fans at full capacity at Daily’s Place tonight for AEW Dynamite on TNT. While the show opened with the good guys, Sting and Darby Allin, it ended with the bad guys standing tall. MJF and The Pinnacle ambushed Chris Jericho and Inner Circle ahead of their match on Sunday.

Former WCW Executive Vice-President Eric Bischoff hosted a celebration of the Inner Circle. He spoke highly of the faction and introduced them to the ring. The crowd sang Judas in unison, and it was a sight to behold. The excitement at Jacksonville could even bring back a dead man from his grave.

MJF and The Pinnacle put down Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle

As the Inner Circle entered, Bischoff played a package highlighting all the incredible moments The Inner Circle have had since their debut. All members of the Inner Circle said a few things one by one.

And at last, ‘Le Champion‘ Chris Jericho took the mic. Jericho said he never thought he’d be able to work in a faction with others, but with them, it felt right.

He even compare them to Guns n Roses from 1987! Jericho brought the attention back to their upcoming Stadium Stampede match and vowed it would be an all-out war. He added that if the Inner Circle goes down, it would be in the blaze of glory.

The ‘Demo God’ concluded and embraced with the Inner Circle inside the ring, until MJF interrupted their moment. The ‘Salt of the Earth‘ revealed he is very excited for the Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing and asked Wardlow if he was excited. He then asked if ‘Dean’ was excited too!

As soon as MJF asked if Dean was excited, he moved aside from the camera showing wrestling legend Dean Malenko tied to a pole inside the TIAA Bank Field. Dean Malenko isn’t just a veteran of the business but also one of Chris Jericho’s closest friends since decades.

MJF asked The Inner Circle to come down in the stadium or he would take out Malenko for good. As they were running towards the stadium, FTR and Shawn Spears of The Pinnacle ambushed them from behind.

The Pinnacle continued their assault on the Inner Circle and made a huge statement in the end. FTR hit spike piledrivers on Santana and Ortiz, that too, through the table! Meanwhile, Shawn Spears, MJF, and Wardlow took out Sammy Guevara, Chris Jericho, and Jake Hager.

In the end, The Pinnacle got together and stacked their hands on top of one another. MJF ended the show by saying, “That is why when you’re in The Pinnacle, you are always on top. This is the end of The Inner Circle. Sunday!”
