On AEW Rampage’s debut episode, Christian Cage took on Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Wrestling Championship. Cage wanted to challenge The Belt Collector because, to him, IMPACT holds a unique value. Hence, he wanted to take the title off of his hands and defend it the way it should be defended.

The overall match was a series of pinfall attempts. Omega and Cage tried to pin each other multiple times. Sometimes both of them kicked out at the very last moment. Both of them showed extreme dominance in the ring, but there could only be one winner.
Cage finally pinned Omega for the victory. This was Christian Cage’s first title win in seven years. Undoubtedly, his fans were overwhelmed and when Mark Henry asked him how he felt, he revealed it was a great feeling, but he wants more now.

Christian Cage is challenging Kenny Omega again
Even though Omega lost the IMPACT World Wrestling Championship, he still holds the AEW World Championship title.

Cage has vowed to take that title from him too at AEW All Out on September 5th, 2021. However, Cage revealed Omega is an extremely tough opponent in the ring, and taking the AEW World Championship title from him will not be easy. He needs to prepare to take on Omega who will defend the title with everything he has!
