On Friday night’s AEW Dynamite (5/28), a few matches were made official for the upcoming Double or Nothing on Sunday. However, none came close to the statement of Orange Cassidy to AEW Champion Kenny Omega.

Last week, Omega and his mentor Don Callis made Cassidy an offer. The latter has been suffering from some ongoing ‘shoulder complications.’ Kenny, being the EVP of AEW, has some special privileges for himself.

Hence, to get himself out of the triple threat match between Cassidy, him, and Pac, Omega offered a contract. This contract proposed that Cassidy can forfeit Sunday’s match, but he would get a match against Omega later in the future when he is fit.

As expected, “OC” tore down the contract as a response. But Callis and Omega gave him another copy and asked him to think about it. This week on Dynamite, Cassidy gave his answer, and it was not what the ‘Belt Collector’ expected.

Orange Cassidy is clear about his match against Kenny Omega and Pac

The segment on AEW started off as Tony Schiavone asked Orange Cassidy to come down to the ring and reveal his decision. However, Pac came down and shooed off Schiavone.

Pac then ranted about why he was more relevant than the “freshly squeezed.” He accused Omega of”ducking and dodging his whole title reign,” and it was pathetic. Pac called out Omega, but Callis appeared on the screen and distracted Pac.

Omega tried to attack from behind but Pac countered it with a hard single-leg dropkick. Soon, Impact Tag Team champions, The Good Brothers, came out to help Omega, and Lucha Bros came to help Pac. The former team left after a while.

Orange Cassidy came down to the ring with an envelope in his hands as Best Friends and Kris Statlander accompanied him. An overjoyed Omega smiled ear-to-ear as he thought Cassidy forfeited from the match with the contract.

To his shock and dismay, the contract was all shredded up. Cassidy attacked Omega and tried to go for the title before Pac attacked him. Cassidy easily subdued Pac with an Orange Punch.
