Paul Wight might make his in-ring debut sooner than expected. The former WWE superstar got into his first physical altercation on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

At the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Wight walked out to rescue Tony Schiavone. Schiavone and his son, Chris were at the end of an attack by QT Marshall and his goons. Once they took down Chris, they stepped up to Tony, before Wight walked out.

Paul made his surprising AEW debut at the beginning of this year. Since WWE wouldn’t let him return to the ring, he took his services to AEW. Wight also stated that he had no creative control over his character and he had much more to offer.
