Chris Jericho Reacts to the Tragic Death of Larry King With a Heartfelt Message

The media world was sent into shock when the news of famous TV and Radio interviewer Larry king’s death was revealed. The broadcasting giant was a huge figure whose influence spread far and wide throughout the world.

Working closely with him once, AEW Superstar and Wrestling legend Chris Jericho was deeply saddened to hear of King’s passing. In a recent post on Instagram, he paid tribute to the media giant with a heartfelt message. 

Chris Jericho cooperated closely with Larry King and even appeared on King’s live show 6 times throughout his career. Moreover, King and his wife appeared on Talk is Jericho, Y2J’s podcast, once to share a comical story of his encounter with former US President John F Kennedy.

The two shared a deep-rooted friendship and mutual respect for each other. Chris Jericho was, however, no the only one King influenced throughout his life. 

In a media career spanning over 6 decades, Larry King managed to interview every US President in office from Gerald Ford up to Barrack Obama. He also interviewed thousands of politicians, leaders, and famous personalities during his career.

Larry King was one of the most notable figures in the world of media, and his name is surely up there with the likes of Walter Cronkite, Marshall McLuhan, and many more.

Devoting his life to going beyond the breakfast table newspaper, King delivered a lot of interesting interviews and never failed to disappoint in his content. 

The media giant passed away at the age of 87 is Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles earlier today, according to a tweet from his Twitter handle.

Although the cause of his death has not been reported yet, King was admitted into the hospital days ago for treatment of COVID-19 according to CNN. An official report will soon come out over this. 

Social Media is flooded with tributes to Larry King and the legacy he leaves behind. Chris Jericho played his part and gave King the sendoff he deserved. Larry King influenced the world of media like none other and has surely left his Mark on its pillars.
