Amidst backstage heat, the main concerns with The ‘Best Man’s’ match were sloppiness and missed spots. The spots could have been executed way better with a veteran like Miro, who was wrestling his first in-ring match after almost six months.
Another thing raising eyebrows was how Miro made his debut in a tag match. Although he emerged victorious, a singles win would have been much more beneficial for the character. There were also rumors of a legitimate injury to Miro.

Alvarez said, “He is dropping people. He is trying to launch people. They are barely getting over and falling on their heads. I mean, it was bad.” But he later noted Miro was fine when he got backstage, “I don’t know what he did, but allegedly it was legitimate, and then he felt better afterward, and he felt better at the back.”
Despite the big debut as Kip Sabian’s best man, Miro would be better off without him. It was odd that a character as popular as Miro associated himself with a heel like Kip Sabian.

AEW has a good thing planned for the ‘Best Man’ and hopefully, we will get to see better matches and title reigns from the former WWE United States Champion.
