CM Punk puts Team Taz on notice at AEW Dynamite

Punk came out on Dynamite and thanked Darby Allin and Sting for an outstanding match at the AEW All Out pay-per-view. He then talked about the surprising debuts on All Out and excited the crowd more.

‘The Best in the World’ admitted the first person he texted as soon as he was out of the ring in Chicago was his wife, April, fka AJ Lee in WWE, and she asked what’s next for him.

Baby, what’s next?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know.’ So, Cincinnati, what’s next?”

Immediately, Taz got up from his commentary position and interrupted Punk by saying that he never wants him to namedrop any of the Team Taz’s members ever again.

However, this did not threaten Punk. Instead, he called out the entire young talent in Team Taz and said that none of them, including Taz, can beat up Punk and will be at his mercy.

“I’ll tell you what, because I have known you a long time, because I do respect you. Send Starks, send Hook, send me Hobbs. And listen, check it out, all 4 of you, beat me if you can. Survive if I let you.”

This seems like a meticulous plan from AEW, putting up young talents against Punk and eventually improving their match qualities. However, with Taz involved in the storyline, Punk should watch his back.
