Right now CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and Adam Cole are working with AEW. While Punk had already made his AEW debut a couple of weeks ago, Cole and Bryan made their debut at AEW All Out 2021.

Considering all three former WWE Superstars are working with AEW, it’s become déjà vu for some fans. In fact, even Punk understands there is a strong resemblance to a moment from the past.

It so happened that years back when Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were working actively. However, they both switched companies and started working with WCW. Now, it could be said that history is repeating itself with Adam Cole, Daniel Bryan, and Punk working with a rival company.

However, Punk believes that what they have now is much bigger than what Nash and Hall had done back in the day. He may have a point because prior to changing companies, all three of them gathered significant experience from the company. This experience will help them climb the AEW roster and make their way to the top.

CM Punk defeated Darby Allin at AEW All Out 2021

When he made his AEW debut on AEW Rampage, he challenged Darby Allin for All Out 2021.

Coming into All Out, Allin and Punk entered the ring to take each other out. Both of them gave it all in the ring. There was a moment when Punk sent Allin flying out of the ring, through the ropes.

Ultimately, it was Punk who overcame the odds and emerged victorious. This was Punk’s first PPV match and first victory in seven years. Following the match, Sting arrived in the ring and they shared a moment in the ring.

On the other hand, Adam Cole and Daniel Bryan made their AEW debut after the main event ended. The crowd went wild as Cole came out and went wilder when Bryan came out to the arena. Apart from Cole and Bryan, former WWE Superstar Ruby Riott made her AEW debut as Ruby Soho.
