April 8, 2021 8:11 am

‘Iron’ Mike Tyson made his long-awaited return to AEW Dynamite earlier today. To everyone’s surprise, Tyson not only appeared on the show but also got physical. And by physical, we mean legit physical! Tyson came out to Chris Jericho’s save and stunned us just like everyone else!

Fans on Mike Tyson coming to Chris Jericho’s save

Mike Tyson shocked AEW fans when he came out to save Chris Jericho from a beatdown at the hands of The Pinnacle. Jericho and Tyson’s history is no secret. Hence, him coming out to rescue Jericho was the last thing anyone expected.

Twitter burst with tweets just as Tyson did the unthinkable! Some users lauded Tyson for throwing those bada** punches, while some even praised Shawn Spears for taking the blows like a boss. After all, you never know when one punch turns into a lethal blow.

A Twitter user pointed to how he never thought Chris Jericho and Mike Tyson would bury the hatchet and stand shoulder-to-shoulder. In fact, it seems like we have to rephrase it to ‘anything can happen in wrestling’ instead of ‘anything can happen in WWE.’

We speculated that Mike Tyson would not reignite his feud with ‘Le Champion,’ as the latter is in a feud with The Pinnacle. Little did we know the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ would insert himself right in the middle of the Inner Circle-Pinnacle war. What are your reactions to Tyson siding with the Inner Circle? Drop in the comments below!
