AEW presented it’s first ever MMA Cage Fight between Jake Hager and Wardlow from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Both men have been feuding for the past several months. But this fight was made to settle the score once and for all.

The rules of the match weren’t any different from a usual MMA Fight. Only difference was it would have three five minute rounds instead of the usual five rounds. Hager and Wardlow took the first round to set their foot in. Ultimately, Hager went for a takedown, but ‘Mr. Mayhem’ tossed him like a beach ball.

Jake Hager puts Wardlow to sleep on AEW Dynamite

Jake Hager regrouped and went for a takedown again. This time he got the big man down and mounted on him to get some punches in. However, it had little effect on Wardlow as he got of it quickly. The duo then traded blows until Wardlow pulled off an impressive Superman Punch off the cage.

Wardlow got the better of Hager in the first round. Hence, the stakes got even higher for the 2x All-American. Hager wasted little time and got ‘Mr. Mayhem’ into an ankle lock. Although the strong and agile Wardlow got out of it.
