AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker and Rebel took on Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero in a tag team match. Baker and Rebel won the match after the Women’s Champion applied her lockjaw on Guerrero, and she tapped out.

However, prior to this win, Baker’s partner made a move that severely injured her. It so happened that Nyla Rose tried to pin Britt Baker, and Rebel slid into the pin in an attempt to break it up. While she succeeded, the damage was done.

During the movement, she hurt her knee and leg. She informed Rose of the same, who immediately moved her towards the ropes. She crawled out of the ring, and the ringside doctors checked on her.

It’s evident she injured herself quite awfully. The doctors and referees ringside had to carry her down to the ring and take her backstage. According to reports, she suffered a kneecap dislocation while trying to break up the pin.

If that’s the case, Rebel will be out of action for a considerable amount of time.

Rebel may be unable to support Britt Baker at Fyter Fest 2021

AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker will put her title on the line at AEW Fyter Fest 2021 against Nyla Rose. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like her tag team partner will be able to support her from ringside. The recovery period of a dislocated kneecap is almost six weeks.

Rebel has been consistently supporting Britt Baker since the beginning. It’ll be disheartening for both Superstars if Rebel can’t be by her side at the event where Baker is putting her title on the line.

However, if she really wants to, she can always be a part of the audience. That’s the best way for AEW to ensure she continues to be a part of the event but is out of harm’s way. Considering this is a legitimate injury, Rebel will need to give her kneecap as much rest as possible so she can return to the ring soon.
