AEW have successfully made this match look like a real title fight through interviews with Jim Ross and a very heated brawl before Dynamite. As AEW CEO Tony Khan, along with a few wrestlers posed for a photograph for Forbes, Britt Baker got cocky.
She approached the photographer and asked him when the article comes out. She then told him to get a picture of her with the AEW Women’s Title since she believes she could be the champion when the article comes out.
As she tried to grab the title from Shida, the champion shoved her and Britt fired back with a forearm to the face.
Tony Khan, FTR, Cody, Powerhouse Hobbs, Orange Cassidy and Eddie Kingston quickly separated the two women. This segment did not air and AEW uploaded it on their Instagram page. On Dynamite, Baker sat down with Jim Ross for an exclusive interview.
