After teasing for almost over a year, the AEW fans got to see what they truly wanted, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page as the AEW World Heavyweight champion. Eventually, ‘The Cowboy’ beat Kenny Omega with a stellar performance on tonight’s main event of AEW: Full Gear 2021.

For months on end, Omega bullied Page and stopped ‘The Cowboy’ from getting anywhere near his championship. However, the tables turned and Page won the much-awaited championship.

But the most exciting highlight was not the ‘Hangman’ carrying the belt on his shoulder, it was the two athletes biting each other in the middle of the ring.

It all turned nasty between The Hangman and The Cleaner

Right off the bat, the bitter rivals went at each other with ferocious back-and-forth jabs and grapplings. However, the two individuals resorted not only to changing blows but also to biting each other’s skins off!

During the match, ‘The Cleaner’ had the ‘Hangman’ on his shoulders for One-Winged Angel; however, Adam countered it into a victory fall which nearly pinned the champion.

Eventually, Omega against locked Adam between his knees and delivered a tiger driver ’98. Omega then got on top of Adam’s body and bit on his forehead which cause the ‘Cowboy’ to bleed a little.

Omega then climbed to the top, but Page crotched him and stopped ‘The Cleaner’ in his tracks. Soon, Page grabbed Omega by his hair and did some biting of his own.

The sheer hatred between the two rivals was on display tonight in the main event of the PPV, and the crowd loved every second of it. The moment when Page pinned Omega, the crowd just went nuts and emotions never looked so real.

What’s next for Adam Page?

Since the inception of the company, Adam Page chased for the company’s title but never succeeded. Eventually, after over two years, the ‘Cowboy’ did it.

With finally being the champ, there are umpteen opportunities for ‘Hangman’ Adam Page to prove his worth as the world champion. Former WWE champions like CM Punk and Bryan Danielson would itch to face the new champion.
