The first-ever Beach Break edition featured the most awaited wedding of AEW. Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian finally put a ring on it but not without some interruption from their old ‘friend’ Orange Cassidy.

James Mitchell officiated the wedding, and Miro served as the Best Man. Chuck Taylor was the butler as the proceedings went on.

Kip and Penelope said their vows, but they skipped the ‘interruption’ part because Miro said so. Post that, Mitchell announced the couple as “man and wife.”

Miro then gave a toast to the newlyweds saying he was there a couple of years ago and had a few weddings. He did not get the man a present, but Miro himself was Kip’s present. His knowledge and power were Kip’s presents.

After that, Miro attacked a giant present in the corner as he thought someone was inside of it, but there was no one. Suddenly, Miro was shackled to the ring post and a confusing brawl began.

Penelope was slammed into the cake, and Kip attacked Miro accidentally. Then, out of nowhere, Orange Cassidy casually appeared and attacked Kip.

Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor celebrated the ‘wedding’ with a bottle of Bubbly while Kip looked on helplessly. Watch the hilarious segment below –

Orange Cassidy ruined the first wedding of AEW

Despite his attempts to save the wedding, Miro was literally bound not to. It seems no wrestling wedding is complete without someone crashing the celebration.

There was also a mention of kayfabe in the wedding vows, despite the couple proclaiming the wedding is very real. The couple is engaged in real life.

Sabian once told TV Insider, “We made a point for it to actually be a wedding and not a gimmick. We want to make sure it runs as smoothly as possible, and to make sure it’s different than what you expect. Fans will expect drama, shenanigans, and exploding cakes.”

Despite that, Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor ensured lots of drama. In the near future, the fans will probably see a showdown between the four men. But for now, there is nothing one can do after the first wedding of AEW.
