Andrei Arlovski or Junior dos Santos: Analyzing the UFC Legends’ Performance at AEW Full Gear 2021

The Inner Circle finally got the chance to deliver a much-needed beat down on American Top Team and Men of the Year. The two factions found themselves going to head-to-head in a no disqualification Minneapolis Street Fight. At first, everything seemed to go as planned, with tags being made and the fight carrying on.

In no time, things became heated between and all lines got blurred. Every single wrestling involved in the match stepped inside the ring, turning it into an all-out brawl. From this point onwards, it was truly a Battle Royale, which saw many unique weapons like Hockey sticks, Toasters, Kendo Sticks, pipes, and more being used.

As interesting as the entire segment was, fans also got the chance to witness UFC Legend Andrei Arlovski alongside Junior Dos Santos

AEW Full Gear finally unleashed ‘The Pitbull’ on the Inner Circle

Former Heavyweight Champion and legendary UFC Fighter, Andrei Arlovski entered unfamiliar territory in Full Gear. Known for knocking people out one swing at a time, Andrei now had to put on a show. Similarly, fellow UFC veteran, Junior Dos Santos, also made use of the opportunity to entertain the fans beyond the realm of the octagon.

However, their performance wasn’t the same as Junior ‘JDS’ seemed like a natural-born professional wrestler. On the flip side, Andei failed to keep things together and his overall performance seemed lackluster.

As much as Junior impressed the community with his wrestling prowess and ability to flawlessly execute complex maneuvers. Andrei seemed uncomfortable inside the square circle and his inexperience in selling moves and positioning himself was quite evident.

Junior Dos Santos can be easily injected into major storylines involving top-tier AEW superstars. He has showcased brilliant wrestling ability, amazing in-ring presence, and he can effortlessly pull off impressive spots. Whereas Andrei isn’t ready just yet, as he still needs to work on the basics.
