However, their most notable run was with WWE where Danielson was known as Daniel Bryan, and on last night’s AEW Dynamite during a match between Danielson and his old rival Bobby Fish, Punk accidentally used Danielson’s WWE name, Daniel Bryan on commentary.

CM Punk was doing his commentary on last night’s AEW Dynamite and given his mic skills, we all know that Punk is great with anything which involves a microphone. However, Punk made a mistake last night by calling Bryan Danielson by his WWE name.

Back when these two were wrestling for WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, Punk and Bryan delivered one of the most iconic matches and promos while feuding against each other.

This was around the time when WWE pushed Bryan in regular main event status and it became an instant classic when these two individuals met.

However, it looks like AEW President Tony Khan is in no rush to put Bryan and Punk in the same ring since they have their personal winning streaks in AEW.

It will be interesting to see how and when Tony Khan comes up with the idea and a brilliant storyline with ‘The Best in the World’ and the ‘American Dragon’.

It is certain that wrestling fans will pay their every buck to see the two athletes having a feud and doing the things we best know them for.
