TNT Champion Miro overcame a huge challenge in the form of Lance Archer at Double or Nothing last week. On the following Dynamite post Double or Nothing, the ‘Best Man’ cut a promo on his next challenger, Evil Uno. During the promo, he also gave a shoutout to his wife and former WWE Superstar, Lana.

During the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared that he believes Miro is trying his best to get Lana to AEW. He said Miro’s subtle hint during his promo was enough to prove that.

Meltzer noted, “Rusev was trying to get her in, you could tell from that promo he’s trying to get her in. More power to him, they had a great act.” H/t Ringside News

Miro and Lana made their WWE debut together in 2013 on NXT and then branched onto the main roster. They went on to become one of the most despised duos on the main roster. However, they were also loved and backed to the core by the WWE Universe when they turned face.

The TNT Championship is on Miro’s waist right now, and the addition of CJ Perry (fka Lana) by his side would only boost his character. We all know the magic the husband and wife can bring to our screens irrespective if they’re faces or heels.

For those unaware, Miro referenced Lana on AEW Dynamite during his promo. However, he did not namedrop her.

He simply said his wife was hot. We definitely believe CJ Perry will soon be #AllElite and join forces with her husband. And by the time she pops up on Dynamite, we’ll see these subtle references every week it seems.

Either way, we’re completely down to see what new and different AEW does with Miro and Perry if the latter does sign with the company. For now, Lana is under a 90-day no-compete clause which means we won’t see her debut for AEW until All Out in September at least.
