Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite aired from the Chartway Arena in Norfolk in Virginia. The capacity crowd inside the arena witnessed multiple awe-inspiring moments. However, the appearance of the legendary Japanese wrestler, Tomohiro Ishii, really got the crowd buzzing.

The fans witnessed an epic tag team action between the NEVER Openweight Champion Tomohiro Ishii with Best Friends and Orange Cassidy vs. The Blade and The Butcher with H.F.O.

Ishii is currently signed with to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he is currently in his record-breaking sixth reign as NEVER Openweight Champion.

The Japanese legend graced the ring with Cassidy to face the faction of Matt Hardy. Eventually, the ‘Pitbull Stone’ and Cassidy won the match via pinfall.

Tomohiro Ishii is not one to back down

Right off the bat, the Japanese legend asked The Blade to hit him. However, this did little to no damage to the ‘Pitbull Stone’. Eventually, Ishii dropped The Blade with his raw strength.

The 5’7″ wrestler was the highlight of the tag team action along with the stiff punches Ishii threw at his opponents, considering that Omega wrestled with all these Japanese really speaks volumes of his in-ring abilities.

However, coming back to the match, Orange Cassidy took the high-flying action on him when he attempted the top rope splash on ‘The Best Friends’ outside the ring.

Eventually, H.O.F. got some upper hand on Orange Cassidy when stopped Cassidy in his tracks as he was looking to deliver an orange punch, but Butcher stopped it.

However, Ishii dragged Cassidy to the corner and tagged himself in, and the capacity crowd cheered the Japanese legend.

Towards the end of the match, former WWE superstar, Matt Hardy, tried to distract the pair; however, nothing worked when Ishii hit The Blade with a lariat and a brainbuster for the win.
