Australian tennis player Alex de Minaur battled past a resurgent Andy Murray to move into the quarterfinals of the Zhuhai Championships 2019. De Minaur needed three sets to dispatch Murray and end his hopes of a triumphant return.

Andy Murray took the first set with a score of 6-4, before de Minaur answered back with a 6-2. Then, things went back and forth until Alex de Minaur got the crucial break to lead 5-4. When serving for the match, the 20-year old faced stiff competition from Murray who was desperate for a comeback.

De Minaur took the early lead 30-0 in the final game before Murray clawed back the advantage. De Minaur got the advantage before it went back to Murray and back to De Minaur again.
