Having claimed his biggest scalp on clay in the form of Rafael Nadal, Alexander Zverev has not only gone a step closer to lifting his second Madrid title after 2018 but has also shot past some of his fellow Next-Gen stars to top a unique list.

The current World No.6 has topped a list of tennis stars born since 1997 who have recorded the most official victories over the Big 3 – combined moniker for Roger Federer, Nadal, and Novak Djokovic.

Born in 1997, the German has nine career wins over the Big 3, four of which have come against the Swiss champion.
