Wimbledon Championships 2021 semifinalist Hubert Hurkacz has been dominating the headlines over the past few days. The Polish player has been making great progress this season. Having won the title in Miami and now knocking Roger Federer out of the Championships clearly indicates his advancement.

As we take a closer look into his life, Hubert Hurkacz was born on 11 February 1997 in Wrocław, Poland. He belongs to a family of athletic backgrounds. His mother Zofia Maliszewska-Hurkacz was a junior tennis champion in Poland. His uncles were tennis players too and his grandfather was a volleyball player representing his nation.

Hubert Hurkacz has an experienced coach

Currently, the Polish star is coached by Craig Boynton. He has coached former Grand Slam champion Jim Courier and had stints with Mardy Fish and John Isner in the past. He has earned $3,275,199 to date and with time will certainly increase that number.

At the moment, Hubert is noting a relationship with anyone. He is focusing on his tennis and doesn’t intend to get distracted for any possible reason. While his social media handles do reveal a fair share about his personal life, he has yet not been seen with anyone special and has never confirmed whether he is dating somebody.

Speaking about Hurkacz’s season, he is having his best time so far. Having made it to the Wimbledon Championships 2021 semifinal this year, he has registered his best performance in a Major. Prior to that, he won his first Masters 1000 title in Miami. He defeated Denis Shapovalov, Milos Raonic, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev, and Jannik Sinner en route to lifting the title.

With there still being time for this season to end, Hubert can surely achieve more success this year. At the moment, he is still competing in the latter stages of the Wimbledon Championships 2021. It will be interesting to see how far he goes.
